Ingleborough from Chapel le Dale
The walk from the Hill Inn, Chapel le Dale to Ingleborough is full of interest, passing pot holes, limestone pavements and other fascinating features and is probably the shortest way to the summit. If we look back there is a good view of Whernside.

The River Ribble and Pendle Hill from Sawley, Lancashire
The river formed the boundary between Lancashire and Yorkshire prior to 1974, when the boffins of Whitehall changed the county boundaries. Pendle has always been in Lancashire of course.
